post-camp experience

checked in in the morning n washed the classroom. we din noe that those toilets in pri sch (even tchrs's toilet) can be so smelly n dirty. but overall it was quite fun since everyone was busy sweeping the water out n playing with the water at the same time.
din stay overnight in the sch n went to my fren's hse instead. did manicure at my fren's place together with two of my other frens. (since they're doing nail polishing n they wanted me to join in..) haha..
8/12/2006 (friday)
had a tired day the day before n we continued to clean the sch hall. we took almost one n a half hrs to clean n sweep away the water.. while we were happily resting in our rms here came the bad news. the committee members had a meeting with the pri sch's principal n the ppl in-charge for organising the camp with us n they came to a conclusion that we hafta call of the camp since we had no official letter inviting volunteers to come over n take care of us in case of accidents n we lack of uniform grps such as st john ambulance n red cross society to come n standby. the adults felt that we're still underage n we're not that great to carry all the responsibilities if any accidents or unfortunate case happens. we were rather sad n disappointed cos we were only told to cancel everything on the day itself when everyone was happily n feeling excited to see the outcome of their hardwork. everyone was crying n feeling lost. in the end we had to change our plan by treating those pple who are coming for the camp with steamboat. the steamboat was a sumptuous one cos we prepared quite a lot of ingredients for them. (fresh prawns, sausages, beancurd, cabbage, taupok, meatballs, crab sticks, n the soup was made from chicken bone!) n supposedly there shd be a barbeque but bcos of the heavy rain the chickens wings were used for the steamboat instead. we being the committee members hafta go to our rms n cook cup noodles for dinner since those ppl had great appetite n they finished all the food. after dinner there was a performance n a mini party. in the schedule we shd be having a theme party n we din want to waste the clothes that we had brought so we decided to dress up nicely n play arnd..
the atmosphere was realli high though those ppl din join us n most of the time we are the ones who were shouting n screaming.. haha..at the end of the day it was super late n we din want to go home n we went back to my fren's hse again. we sat down n chat till midnight abt wat to do for next yr's activities..

received smses saying that there'll be a buffet in the afternoon. set off frm my fren's hse n reached home at noon. unpacked my stuff n went out to the place near by the sea. we had to finish 160 ppl's share of food! luckily they invited those ppl who were supposed to join our camp n they ate a lot.. hehe. after eating we were running arnd n shouting by the sea...
