the story of alligator
blogging fever is back again..
today overheard my frens showing off their blogs at wretch.cc n the first thing that came into my mind was, "haix, ppl have started blogging a few yrs ago.."
actually sometime ago wanted to abandon my diaryland blog n go for other server, but thinking that it might be very mafan having to move all the urls n links so i chose to stick to this blog. hehe.
frm next wk onwards gonna force myself to stay inside the heap of books (not rubbish..) mid yr's starting next wk n i think the first wk of the may hols there'll be extra classes.. sighx. left with only 7 days then for slacking n rotting.
oh, another thing. ppl arnd me are crowding to go for the driver's test to get their licenses. n i was even mocked by one of my frens saying the license that i got was just a useless sheet of paper since i hardly drive. for god's sake! must i drive a BMW or mercedes to sch so that ppl will only noe that i can drive? nope. to me, driving is just for convenience n not for showing off.. otherwise reports n articles stating that we youngsters shd not get our licenses too early will appear again..
this morning was a lovely one. strong wind blew with heavy downpour - making the weather a cooling n refreshing one even though i still had to sit for my chi paper..went to this rm n sat down to read my bks then a few mins later my sis saw a greyish thing lying on the red carpet n i went to see if it was a snake. then i asked her to use the broom to sweep it away n when we went near it, the snake glided away immediately n disapppeared in front of our eyes within a second.
after that went back to class n my frens started to asked if the snake has been found or not. so i told them that there was no Alligator the dog to detect the presence of the snake n they burst into laughter.. hehe.. (p/s: there's this short story that we've learnt named The Drover's Wife n it is abt a bushwoman who lived in a small brush hut n snakes are always found in their area n going arnd to bit ppl.. so one day this bushwoman found a snake gliding in her house n she tried many ways to lure it out but she failed to do so..n she had a dog named Alligator which guards the children n is responsible to detect the snake..of course in the end the snake was found n it was killed n threw into the fire place..)
