dissection
haix. recently ther bio pract lessons we had were interesting. all abt the respiratory system of the animals. n did two dissection pract on cockroach n frog. the dissection on the frog was a disgusting one. we placed the frog in the sink but we did think that we have to use chloroform to make it asleep. the stubborn frog kept jumping arnd in the sink (of course we did cover the sink after throwing the cotton wool with chloroform on it...). n finally it was subdued. so we started to pin its legs n somehow it started to struggle again. n my bio tchr said perhaps we did put enuff amt of chloroform.. never mind. we continued to peel its skin n then cut its muscle. by then we were able to see its organs. wow. it has a huge lungs. (due to the struggling for the last breath..) arghh. the worst is that my fren had dissected a female frog with eggs. oh. that was really disgusting n the frog was very poor thing. in the end we decided to go vege (become a vegetatrian) for the next 2 wks. yucks.
